Flying Flying I Wish

Interior Design

Unlike other residential designs, Chien-Chien Chu aims to establish a healing forest instead of a boring box. This project provides a space for children to live and grow, while also offering adults a tranquil environment. The use of creamy white, white, and dark and light oak colors creates a relaxing and natural living field.

This project, titled "Flying Flying I Wish," is a living story that celebrates growth, imagination, and innovation. It serves as an experiment by Chien-Chien Chu to explore residential issues in response to nature. The design incorporates two interesting natural ideas: the image of trees representing parents' profuse love and the nutrition of trees fostering children.

In the living room, a set of sofas placed in front of large windows allows spatial users to enjoy the outside scenery with a sense of relaxation. The curved shapes of the ceiling resemble floating clouds or magic rugs from fairy tales. The ceiling lights arranged in the form of Orion stars inspire childlike joyfulness in everyone's hearts.

The space covers an area of 320 square meters and is located in Taiwan. The design team, led by Chien-Chien Chu, successfully created a space that fosters imagination and innovative spirits to freely expand. The curve shapes stretching out to the top of the restaurant, adorned with hanging lights resembling tree branches, metaphorically represent a vital tree growing from the ground towards the clouds.

In the reading and playing room, unique bookshelves shaped like crescent moons or Earth curves create interesting reading postures. The white walls serve as canvases for freely posting city images, representing different views of the world. All family members can express and record their perspectives as they navigate through life, touching every moment and discovering the essence of life within this space.
